Spinach Tart: Something that would "Blow you down!" |
I jokingly posted in my facebook page that I was eating “paborita”, a
traditional Filipino thin-layered cookies, and “laing”, a Bicolano recipe made
out of taro leaves cooked in coconut milk, in Starbucks Sto.Tomas.
It is true that their Spinach Tart really has resemblance to the said
local delicacies and surely a must-order and taste when you visit the famous
coffee shop. Served as a square-shaped
layered pastry enough to be a complete meal and made more appetizing by its
spinach stuffing I have no idea what they put into it but one thing is for sure…
it’s delicious.

Because spinach has a high nutritional value and is extremely rich in
antioxidants, I recommend indulge it with a hot variety of coffee instead of
their cold coffee products, it would be more appreciated.
I enjoyed my visit to Sturbucks Sto.Tomas,
Batangas not only because of the coziness of the place and good customer-service, I enjoyed it more because of the Spinach Tart. Something you and PopEye(the cartoon character who really loves spinach) would surely enjoy
too.
